The backpack that is also a stool. Carry all your gear then have a comfortable seat when you want to stop. Main compartment has cordlock closure with flap over and zipped compartment inside. Outside, there are 2 pockets that will take a flask or small telescope and a third pocket big enough for a field guide. The lid has a zipped pocket and another zipped compartment which holds a waterproof cover. The lid is fleece lined which, when folded over the seat, makes a warm, comfortable cushion. The harness has padded shoulder straps, a sternum strap, a padded lumber pad with waist strap, plus a mesh panel for comfortable carrying and to keep the rucksack away from the back to prevent overheating.
