Carsington
Bird Club was formed in 1992.
They hold indoor meetings in the winter months between September and March in
Hognaston Village Hall on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. The monthly meetings
between April and August are outdoors with an evening stroll, bird watching
around the Reservoir and surrounding areas. |

The Derbyshire Ornithological Society (DOS)
The DOS was formed in December 1954 and is a registered charity
within the UK. With a membership of approximately 550 we are the only
organisation that covers the whole county of Derbyshire. Our aims are to
promote the recording, study and conservation of birds and conservation of
their habitats within the county. |
