| The Swarovski Universal Camera Adapter in use Taken on Saturday 18th July 2009, which was a miserable, windy, cloudy day. |

Swarovski ATS 80 HD plus 25-50x Zoom eyepiece with a Canon 500D, plus EFS 18-55mm lens, mounted on the UCA. It is not necessary to remove the eyecup on the Swarovski eyepiece in order to use this adapter. Note the Sliding Plate Adapter - this is essential to maintain the balance of the unit. |

Taken with 25x set on the eyepiece. The Canon lens was set to approx 45mm to eliminate vignetting. Manual focus via the "live view" function. Exposure mode set to Aperture Priority, with the widest aperture selected, and with -1/3 stop compensation. |

Taken with 25x set on the eyepiece and with the widest zoom setting on the Nikon to eliminate vignetting. The camera was set to aperture priority auto exposure with the widest aperture selected. The self timer on the camera was used to reduce vibration. |
